Men’s Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to instill spiritual leadership, and encourage men to use that leadership in the church and at home.
Missions
The goal of this ministry is to inspire a "mission conscious church, which is aggressively fulfilling its responsibility to carry the Good News to all the world."
Women’s Ministry
This ministry strives to build spiritual maturity, and meet the needs of the women in the church and community.
Youth Ministry
This ministry is responsible for all youth-related activities and spiritual growth events for those in the 6th - 12th grades.
Children’s Ministry
Working closely with the Youth and Worship Ministries, this ministry is responsible for the coordination of all nursery through 5th grade programming.
Upperclassmen
This ministry is designed for 55 years of age and above. This ministry exists to provide fellowship, outreach and service.
Worship & Arts
This ministry assists in the oversight of all the worship services, including drama, praise teams, ensembles, choirs, and special musical presentations.

Adult Discipleship Ministry
This ministry seeks to comprehensively implement Central's MISSION statement to MEET-LEAD-GROW all believers by providing oppurtunities for education, fellowship and discipleship. This ministry helps us to grow by giving us the incentive to SEEK-STUDY- and SERVE, so we can reach out - and reach in to serve Him.
Bereavement Ministry
This ministry provides coordination of meals and personal contacts to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one in death. This ministry functions in conjunction with the Minister overseeing the funeral and/or memorial services.
Building Ministry
This ministry is responsible for the care and maintenance of all buildings on the church property. This includes all furniture, fixtures, mechanical and electrical equipment. This ministry helps coordinate 'All Church Workdays'.
Care Care Ministry
This ministry sets up shop at our garage area on a monthly basis to assist those in need with minor car repairs. It is designed especially for single mothers and the elderly on minimum fixed incomes. The only cost is for the parts used. The Ministry can also recommend several garages, parts stores and shops who can provide guaranteed service at the lowest price for those repairs which the Car Care Ministry is unable to perform.
College Age Ministry
This ministry exists to encourage our college age members to "stay connected" with the church family while away at college.
Drama Ministry
This ministry seeks to assist in bringing the Bible to life through drama, as well as to enhance the sermon message, theme and worship services.
Fellowship Ministry
This ministry provides coordination and personnel to support all church dinners and fellowship gatherings for the Central Christian Church family. It is responsible for "Coffee Central", our Sunday morning refreshment fellowship. It also manages inventory of all plastic ware, kitchen equipment, etc., used for all church activities.
Finance Ministry
This ministry is responsible for counting and depositing all offering contributions. They review all ministry and church requests for expenditures, prepare an annual budget, write all checks and maintain records which are reported monthly to the elders.
Grounds Ministry
This ministry is responsible for the maintenance and care of all landscaping, signs and parking areas on the church property. The grounds ministry helps organize, promote and coordinate 'All Church Workdays' to assist in needs not covered with regular maintenance.
Helping Hands Ministry
This ministry manages a network of volunteers to provide food and other needs to sick/shut-in members, as well as those returning home from the hospital. It also works with the Bereavement Ministry to provide meals and other needs for the families of deceased members during the time of the funeral.
Home Care Ministry
This ministry provides assistance to members and friends of Central who require home repairs, maintenance and limited improvements and do not have the ability to do it themselves. Except for materials, all work is done on a "no charge" basis.
Hospital Calling Ministry
This ministry strives to keep in touch with the shut-ins and those hospitalized or in a nursing facility, in our church family. This ministry sets up regular visits making those shut in, or in the hospital, feel they are still a part of their church.
Resource Center Ministry
This ministry is located in room 313. The resource center ministry maintains and reviews the books, tapes and video resources of the Library, and makes them available for 'check out' to all members of the congregation.
Prayer and Devotion Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to develop a climate of prayer throughout the congregation. "Prayer Partners" and "Prayer Vigils" are set up, as well as establishing, recruiting, and maintaining volunteers on the membership "Prayer Chain."
S.H.A.R.E. Ministry
This ministry is a national outreach ministry by local churches to provide monthly "Grocery Packages" to individuals within the church and surrounding community with food at a reduced price while encouraging "community service" in return.
Social Outreach Ministry
This ministry seeks to glorify God by helping those in our community who have various needs, and to promote an attitude of service among our members as we reflect Christ's Spirit to the secular world. They also sponsor service projects.
Specially Nice Ministry
This ministry works with the Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Marion County, Inc. to provide persons who are mentally handicapped with an opportunity for spiritual development and fellowship. The ministry provides round trip transportation from the homes to the church building for Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship services and our Wednesday evening services.
Sports Ministry
This ministry seeks to provide fun and entertaining sports activities for ALL ages. The desire is to not only provide the activities for exercise and fun, but for good Christian fellowship with others from both our church family and our community.
Transportation Ministry
This ministry is responsible for providing proper maintenance and insurance for all church vehicles and to coordinate the van and bus usage among our many church ministries.
